ABOUT ME

Art Inspired by Places, Nature, and Everyday Life

I’m Delphine, a French watercolour illustrator originally from Normandie, now living in the UK for over 27 years. I work in watercolour and ink, creating hand-painted illustrations inspired by buildings and places that evoke memory, feeling, and connection.

I moved to the UK to follow my passion for nature and the environment. These influences run through everything I paint, from familiar homes and places to illustrations rooted in food, movement, and wellbeing.

MY WORK

Illustrations of Buildings and the Places We Love

My artwork focuses on illustrations of places and buildings, capturing spaces that feel lived in, personal, and connected to their surroundings. I create commissioned watercolour paintings, as well as original prints and cards, all painted by hand with care and attention to detail.

Alongside my place-based artwork, I design illustrated guides inspired by nature and wellbeing. Whether through the places I paint or the everyday practices I illustrate, my work is about connecting people with nature in simple, meaningful ways.

Protecting and respecting nature is a core value in my work. I aim to create art in harmony with the environment, keeping my process thoughtful, small-scale, and as sustainable as possible.

Through both my illustrations of places and my wellbeing-inspired work, my intention is to encourage a deeper relationship with the natural world, helping people notice it, value it, and feel more connected to it in everyday life.
